Since our beginnings, we have dedicated our efforts to the design and development of new products for hospital, nursing, orthopedic, pharmaceutical, mental health, emergency, technical assistance, and home care sectors, in order to offer high quality products at competitive prices from an ethical, wellness, empathy, dignity and environmental protection perspective.

In Spain, our products are marketed through an extensive network of distributors covering the whole territory, and since 1998 our export activities reach FIVE continents.

OUR HISTORY

1974

Our founder, Manel Montero, began researching medical products and textile solutions for hospitals.v

1986

We are the first manufacturer of tubular bandages in Spain with our Lidermed®.v

1994

We started designing and marketing medical devices from Mataró (Barcelona).v

1995

We launched the first versions of our products Salvacel® and Salvapad®, brands that today we continue to export to different countries.v

1996

We started to manufacture our Salvafix®.v

1997

We made our first exports to hospitals in Germany and participated in the first international trade fairs.v

2006

In 2006, we improved our working hours to facilitate a better work-life balance for our team.v

2023

Today we export products and solutions to more than 60 countries in FIVE continents, having a wide international presence in congresses, international and domestic exhibitions & fairs, as well as regularly visiting all our distributors around the world. Our founder, Manel Montero, continues to contribute daily from our production facilities of more than 3,000 square meters in Mataró (Barcelona).v

2024

The research of our R&D&I Department is our greatest asset and allows us to bring new products to the market every year.

In a sector such as ours, where safety plays a key role, it is necessary to develop and apply the necessary technologies to guarantee the total quality of the products and thus achieve total consumer confidence. That is why we have ISO 9001, ISO 13495 and XXX sanitary license.

We listen to our customers’ needs to understand their requirements and provide them with the most professional solutions beyond expectations. That is why we are constantly developing new products and processes, applying new technologies and using the most advanced materials.

From the conception of the idea, through an exhaustive selection of materials, the creation of prototypes and the most demanding testing, to the creation of an industrialized manufacturing process with quality and safety levels that far exceed any standard, with a quality final product at a competitive price.

We are focus on people at the heart of our values.

Our values place people at the center, patients, and health professionals.  We count on the valuable collaboration of our excellent human team, made up of 50 highly qualified professionals whose daily work is the basis of our expansion and growth year after year. 70% of our Department Heads are women, a rate that reaches 85% in our Production Department.

Environmental commitment

This year 2023 we are installing photovoltaic panels in our facilities. Last year we already replaced all our lighting with LEDs. We will also install a recharging point for electric vehicles at the entrances to the Company, as Company cars will be replaced by plug-in hybrids or electric vehicles.

We are currently working on formulas for the reuse of sanitary textile products that generate less waste in their production. In our offices and factories, we reuse plastic and are increasingly using cardboard for our packaging.

And we are proud to say that we have always produced in Europe and at Zero Km: currently 95% of our products are manufactured in Mataró (Barcelona) with our own technology and the remaining 5% in Spain.

Social action

In Medicare System we collaborate with different national and international associations and NGOs. Occasionally, we also donate health products in areas of health emergencies.
