Salvafast\u00ae Wrist Restraints are designed for the safe containment of the upper limbs while the patient is in bed or on a stretcher. They help prevent aggression, self-harm, tampering with medical equipment, and potential falls, offering an effective solution in clinical environments where it is necessary to temporarily limit patient movement in a controlled and comfortable manner.<\/p>\n
They are made from soft and comfortable neoprene, ensuring pleasant contact with the skin even during prolonged use. Fixation to the bed or stretcher is achieved through magnetic-release safety locks, which provide a reliable and permanent attachment to the frame. The patient\u2019s restraint is applied using a double Velcro\u00ae system, allowing for quick, simple, and adjustable positioning.<\/p>\n
The system is available in two formats:<\/p>\n
– Salvafast\u00ae Wrist Restraints (individual): supplied as a pair of independent wristbands, allowing flexible attachment depending on the care setting.
\n– Salvafast\u00ae Wrist Restraints Monoblock: version with wrist restraints sewn onto a central band, designed for direct and more stable fixation to the bed.
